About Us The California Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America is entering into a pilot program with the National office in Washington DC. The business side of the Chapter will be managed from the Washington DC office; the existing office in Burlingame's primary focus will be to provide services and outreach activities in Northern California. A second office is being opened in Los Angeles with the proceeds of the Fall 2007 Walk for Lupus Now; and will provide services and outreach in Southern California Our mission remains that of supporting individuals and families affected by lupus, increasing awareness of lupus among health professionals and the public, encouraging improved diagnosis and treatment of lupus and funding research into the causes and a cure.
